Position Overview:
- As a Service Crew member at Street Churros, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, preparing churros, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.
- Your main responsibility is to provide a positive, friendly experience for customers while contributing to the smooth operation of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and handle inquiries regarding products and menu items. Ensure customer satisfaction and respond to any concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing and serving fresh churros, toppings, and drinks following food safety and quality standards.
- Cash Handling: Operate the cash register to process payments, give accurate change for opening and closing cash report. Handle cash, credit cards, and mobile payment systems responsibly.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining area, and restroom facilities. Follow health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Product Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the menu, promotions, and any seasonal offerings. Provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow crew members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations and a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Stocking & Inventory: Assist in restocking products and supplies, ensuring items are well-organized and readily available during busy hours.
- Opening/Closing Procedures: Help with opening and closing duties, such as setting up the store, ensuring all equipment is operational, and securing the premises.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or food service is an advantage, but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and cleanliness.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
