In our collective journey towards a more sustainable future, MyTOWNKL introduces an innovative way to make recycling not only environmentally friendly but rewarding too! Through the MyTOWNKL App, users can now accumulate points by responsibly disposing of specific recyclable items, including cardboard, magazines, paper, and plastic bottles. The process is simple: start by collecting your recyclables at home or office. Once you've gathered cardboard, magazines, paper, or plastic bottles, visit us at B1 (opposite of The Pet Safari) to collect your points.

As you contribute to the recycling initiative, MyTOWNKL rewards your eco-friendly efforts with valuable points. The more items you recycle, the more points you earn! These points can then be redeemed for a variety of exciting rewards, from discounts at local businesses to exclusive offers on sustainable products.

How it works:

Step 1: Download MyTOWNKL App (only applicable to new users, existing MyTOWNKL App members can proceed to step 2)

Step 2: Bring your recycle items to Basement 1 (opposite The Pet Safari), and our friendly co-worker will help to weigh it on the scale. 

Step 3: Points* will be rewarded based on the items listed below:

• Cardboard   (1kg = RM0.02/2 points) 
• Magazine / Paper   (1kg = RM0.02/2 points)
• Plastic Bottles / Aluminium Can (1btl / can = RM0.02/2 points)

Remark: *Recycle points will be credited to the account based on the total value after converted from kilogrammes to RM value, multiplied by 100.
