“Who’s Your Valentine?” (“Contest”) is organised by MyTOWN Shopping Centre (the “Organiser”). By entering this Contest, you agree to be bound by and comply with these terms and conditions, which shall form a valid and binding agreement between you and the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the rights to amend, add to or remove any of these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion without prior notice.

Eligibility: 

1. The participant must be a citizen or permanent resident of Malaysia who holds a valid National Registration Identification Card (NRIC) number (12 digits) and aged 18 years and above at the time of participation.
2. The following persons are not eligible to participate in said Contest:

• Permanent and/or contract employees of the Organiser (and its related companies) and their immediate family members (their parents, spouses, children, siblings, and their respective spouses); and
• Representatives and/or agents (including advertising agents and contest management agents) of the Organiser and their immediate family members (their parents, spouses, children, siblings, and their respective spouses).

Contest Period:  

1. The contest period is as follows: 28 January 2022– 14 February 2022.
2. The Contest submission will end on 14 February 2022, 11.59pm. Late entry will not be entertained.
3. The Organiser may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the Contest Period at any time without any prior notice.

Contest Submission: 

To participate in this Contest, participant must:  

1. Comment on the post with the topic that is specified in the post copy.
2. Like the post and follow the MyTOWN Shopping Centre FB page.
3. Make sure to use the #MyTOWNKL hashtag.
4. Tag your Valentine.

Winner Announcement:

1. Announcement will be made on MyTOWN Facebook on 16 February 2022 by 12pm
2. The winners are required to send us their details (Full name, Contact Number, IC, & Number) via Facebook direct message by 11.59pm on the same day of announcement.
3. MyTOWN will issue a letter to the winners for their redemption of the prize.

Prize Collection and Redemption:

1. The prize consists of a Tote Bag from MyTOWN.
2. The Organiser reserve the right to reject any expired redemption.
3. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value at any time at their absolute discretion without prior notice.
4. The prize is not exchangeable, non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not replaceable if stolen or lost.
5. Other transportation, accommodation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses that are incurred to participate in the Contest are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Other Terms & Conditions: 

1. Acceptance of any Prizes shall constitute consent on the participant’s part to allow the use of the participant’s name, image, video footage, voices and/or likeness by the Management for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or the other purposes without further compensation in any media for an unlimited period of time except where prohibited by the law.
2. The Management’s decision regarding the Prizes, and/or in every situation including any which is not covered under this Terms & Conditions, shall be final and binding on all participants, and no queries, challenges or appeals maybe made or entertained regarding the Management’s decision on the same. The receipt by any of the participant of any Prizes is conditional upon compliance with any applicable laws, rules and regulations.
3. Acceptance of the Prizes shall constitute a release and discharge the Management, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agents by each of the participant from all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, and/or damages (including special, indirect and consequential losses) which the participant may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to: (i) the Contest, (ii) personal injury and/or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the participant as a result of the use and/or enjoyment of the Prizes, and/or (iii) any tax liabilities in relation to the Contest, Prizes and/or use or enjoyment of the same.
4. Each individual participating in the Contest acknowledges that in respect of any Personal Information disclosed by him/her to the Management: a) he/she is authorized to disclose such Personal Information; b) such disclosure complies with Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and any Privacy Legislation from any country, within the geographical scope of the Contest; c) he/she is consented to the use of such Personal Information by the Management (including, without limitation, the disclosure of such Personal Information to the Management’s external agencies or third parties); he/she have read, understand and agreed to this Terms and Conditions and consent to the processing of Personal Data as described in the Management’s Privacy Policy which is available at: https://mytownkl.com.my/information?#webpp under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
5. The Management reserves the right to change, amend, and revise this Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time and the participant shall be bound to such changes.
6. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
